Hillary and the Democrats – Den Svenska EP

Of all the songs on this ep, I like the first two the best. You will have to hit the rewind button to hear the first song Let’s Play Kubb! This Liverpool sound is just plain fun with nothing overly serious. Hey, The Beatles started out with a similar premise with some German club scene sounds thrown in for grand measure. Hopefully we will see these lads performing at a future Olympic venue as the Artic Monkeys did with a perfect Beatle’s cover of Come Together.

Indie Pop forged in the fires of Art Brut, Hefner, Weezer and XTC, apparently. These lads are from Liverpool. Anyway, they’ve released an EP which is sort-of about Sweden. It’s called Den Svenska EP. You might like it.
