Robin Allender – Here Nor There
Nice artistry and simple, yet stunning compositions perfect for this forlorn traveler looking for a peaceful retreat. Thank you Mr. Allender for making the kind of music you like best—the kind our weary and troubled world needs so dearly. This is music in the cinematic scope of Mark Kozelek of Sun Kil Moon acclaim.

This year sees the release of a brand new Robin Allender EP, Spirit’s Sleep — Robin’s most focused work to date. The EP is a continuation of Robin’s work with The Allender Band, but also shows the influence of James Blackshaw, Alasdair Roberts, Mark Kozelek and (naturally) Yann Tiersen. ‘Host and Guest’, a collaboration with award-winning Scottish author John Burnside, is a particular highlight — a lengthy, unusually structured song which showcases Allender’s assured guitar-style.
