Songs of Heartland & Grieving – Bill Mallonee & Muriah Rose
Another good acoustic guitar based ‘Live’ recording by the Folk-Americana artist, Bill Mallonee and Muriah Rose (keyboards). If you can, you need to go to one of their concerts; until then, listen and then purchase this release—don’t think twice, it’s alright!
This “live” album is the most definitive recorded musical statement Muriah & I have done as a duo. These are songs about addiction, road loneliness, broken faiths, betrayals, post traumatic-stress, Jesus postmen, Incarnate Gods, broken dreams, stars of mercy and hope, “failed’ artists and more…it’s all here. (“Neon Passes Through” is a brand new studio bonus track included here.)
Recorded live in a single show, i believe it captures a certain elegant, folk- minimalism we’ve placed in the new songs and imbued the older tunes with.
Lastly, Humble thanks to all who have encouraged with their own stories of heartland & grieving. You have led us by example.
