Mumble – Happy Living
The ‘Sounds Like’ descriptors below accurately describe the sound of Mumble, imho. This is basically straight ahead rock, but not the mind-numbing stuff they play on top-40 radio. This should be on the cooler parts of the radio dial and on every college radio’s playlist, if not your ipod. This album is filled with: down, mid and uptempo rockers, anthems and tales of life’s journey. A very generous mix. Take a wee bit of time and follow the links and listen to more; and maybe their label mates at the Marathon link below.

Bio:
Mumble’s music could be described as intelligent rock music for those who actually believe rock and roll can still be an art form. This label is dangerous though, because Mumble’s music is still certainly very accessible with hooks and memorable passages. Complexly layered with sonic structure and full bodied production, their recorded material would be likened to an immersion experience. Live performances come off more as taut displays of interwoven musical exercise with bursts of emotional and sonic fury. ..
